One of my passions is curating art going back hundreds of years. I love that these postcards offer an inexpensive option for people to frame and enjoy.

In the year 1774, a ram was exhibited at the fair of St. Germain, as a ram of the Cape of Good Hope; but it was found that it had been purchased at Tunis, and although considered it to be of the same species as the Barbary sheep, due to the difference in the shape of its head, it was called the ram of Tunis. This image is adapted from the original in Buffon’s Natural History published in 1807.
