Trade cards were common in the 1800s, and often showed offbeat images that existed to build brand buzz. I will often take multiple images to create an original illustration. This image of a bear is one such image.

Bear Mountain is laced with trails including the moonrock trail that offers an amazing view of the Fraser Valley on a sunny day. Bear Mountain is where I live and aptly named - we have had a few bears come to visit us.
